New Class: Vintage Hues

Join Elisabeth for this six (6!) card class featuring beautiful Vintage Hues Transparencies from Stamp-On-It.  Always a popular class, these transparencies, paired with glitter film, make for a stunning focal point to your cards!  (The picture never does these cards justice; stop in to see the class samples live – trust me, you’ll want to make your own set!)  Paired with beautiful patterned paper, with Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn sentiments, you’ll whip up this six card set in no time.

Students are requested to bring their basic kit – make sure you have scissors and liquid adhesive, like Nuvo or UltraBond.

Fawn, Fawn, Fawn!

The new Lawn Fawn Spring Release is HERE, with dozens of fabulous new items that you are sure to love! These are already so popular that unfortunately, for this event only, we cannot “hold” any items for you, BUT… local customers, remember you can purchase items online and choose “Pick Up in Store” where they will safely await your arrival. And don’t worry, we’ll be re-stocking the most popular items almost immediately, so if you miss out right now, don’t despair! There’s lots of Easter and Spring themed items, plus TWO gorgeous new paper lines: Stripes and Sprinkles (pictured behind the card samples above)and What’s Sewing On with pretty florals on one side and adorable sewing motifs on the other (pictured at the very bottom of this post). We’re open tonight and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday 3/23 & 3/24) from 5 to 9pm and Saturday (3/25) from 10am to 5pm.

Attention: Lawn Fawnatics!

Usually “X” marks the spot, but this time a heart does… we’re making room on the wall because Lawn Fawn’s newest release debuts this Thursday, February 23rd, and all of the brand new stamps, dies, patterned papers, stencils, clever mechanicals and more will be available online all day; as well as in-store during normal hours, 5-9pm. CCC: October Edition

Join Elisabeth for another edition of Christmas Card Club!  The card is inspired by a birthday card Elisabeth received from Beverly Rowan – a super-sophisticated, yet fantastically simple stand-up card that folds flat to fit in an A2 envelope. Lawn Fawn stamps and dies from Hero Arts and Penny Black are featured.

This edition will take place on Friday, October 28th, from 5 – 9 pm. Cost is $26 and includes dinner. Email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your place. Participants are requested to bring their basic kit and a little bit of holiday spirit! All the paper, embellishments and supplies you’ll need to make five cards of this design will be prepared; all you have to do is show up and assemble them. It’s a fun way to enjoy a crafty night out and get a jump on holiday card production. New members are always welcome, but space is limited, so email Elisabeth today!   

(Please note that while the meeting starts at 5pm, you do not have to arrive by 5pm – you should be able to complete all five cards, even if you can’t arrive until later.)

NEW Autumn Harvest Class

Join Elisabeth for a harvest of fall-inspired cards featuring stamps from Taylored Expressions, Lawn Fawn and Stampendous with a bounty of techniques: stencils, ink blending, heat embossing, Copic Marker coloring and even watercoloring with the new Distress watercolor pencils!

How Do Lawn Fawnatics Celebrate Fall?

With beautiful new Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, paper pads, stencils and more, of course! Check out all the newest Lawn Fawn by clicking THIS LINK! There are general autumnal items like the Giant Happy Fall Die (shown above), Simply Fall Sentiments, Magic Iris Sunflower Add-On Die Set (which works with or without making a Magic Iris card, as you can see from the samples on the item page!); and the Build-a-Barrel Apple set.

Happy (Crafty!) Holidays

Lots of seasonal inspiration from the second day of classes at the Collins Show. Spellbinders (above) has outdone themselves once more, with a collection of dies, embossing folders and sentiments that will be as beautiful and useful in years to come as they are right now. Hero Arts (below) has some utterly gorgeous layered stamping, diecuts and cool techniques! And of course Lawn Fawn’s “APPLE-SOLUTELY” adorable cadre of mice (bottom photo) are warming up to do some harvesting and baking this autumn, followed by “SNOW MUCH FUN” when winter rolls around. Items from the show will start arriving at the beginning of August, so stay tuned for updates!

It’s That Time Again

The summer 2022 edition of the Collins Group Virtual Retailers’ Symposium is taking place this week, so stay tuned to see some of the brand new products which will be making their way to Paper Anthology this August and September. Collins always starts off with an event they call the Sample Making Frenzy, and as ever, it’s really lived up to its name. In this photo there are beautiful new items from Spellbinders, The Crafters Workshop, Lawn Fawn, Hero Arts, Dare 2B Artzy, Impression Obsession, Stampendous, Photoplay and Scrapbook Adhesives. New (Cuuuute!) Class

Lawnfawnatics (and all others!) are invited to join Lauren for “Fawn Fun in the Summertime“, a cute and colorful class featuring the tiny Lawn Fawn critters from Beary Rainy Day, Gnome Sweet Gnome and Berry Special paired with chunky Pinkfresh Studio diecut alphabets. We’ll make a square shaker card, a slimline and an A2 greeting. Dates available are currently Monday, June 27th from 11am to 2pm and Saturday, July 16th from 12-3pm; but stay tuned for a third date to be announced! Cost is $22. Students are requested to bring their basic kits, including all the adhesives; we’ll be using a fair amount of foam tape and clear-drying, fine-tipped glue, such as Nuvo Deluxe.
