New Class: Awesome Blossoms

Join Lauren for a three card class that’s Bloomin’ Awesome. We’ll welcome Spring with fresh flowers, bright colors and bold patterns, using two sets of coordinated layering stencils, stamps and dies, from Hero Arts and Pinkfresh Studio. Please bring your basic class kit. Dates available: Monday, March 28th, 11 am–2 pm; Saturday, April 2nd, 12–3 pm; Monday, April 25th, 11 am–2 pm. Cost $22. Thank You Very Mush!

Winter Botanicals is the newest Paper Anthology Class in a Kit. This three-card class features soft colors, sweet doilies and plenty of woodgrain, with dies from Hero Arts, Spellbinders and Taylored Expressions plus sentiments from Wendy Vecchi’s “Merci and More” Stamp, Die and Stencil set. Don’t need that many Thank You cards? Swap the pre-stamped flags for your own sentiments and send these for practically ANY occasion. All stamping and diecutting has been done for you, just follow the written instructions and consult the full-color photos to easily assemble two A2’s and one A6 card.

What’s New, Pussycat?

It’s that time of year, the dozens of orders for Spring and Summer merchandise placed at the Collins Show have started to find their way to Paper Anthology! Hero Arts’ Spring 2022 ShopBox has arrived at Paper Anthology, and all of the beautiful new products (which won’t be available anywhere except small brick and mortar craft stores until February 15th!) can be purchased both in-store …when the snow stops*… and online. There’s so much good stuff we’ve given it a category all its own: just click on the Hero Arts ShopBox graphic in the store, or either of the bold links in this post, to see everything all in one place. And don’t miss Hero Arts’ inspiring video (above) with demos. Locals, remember you can order online and choose “pick up in store” to save on shipping!

Let the Inspiration Begin!

The winter 2022 edition of the Collins Group Virtual Retailers Symposium begins today, so stay tuned all week for the latest makes and previews of items coming soon(ish) to Paper Anthology. First up, cards from the famous Sample Making Frenzy! In photo one, gorgeous florals from AlteNew. In photo two, an ocean vibe from Dare 2B Artzy, lovely lemons (on a textured background) from Spellbinders, and silhouetted drama from Hero Arts. Photo three features soft florals from Stampendous, as well as uber-cuteness and big chunky diecuts from Lawn Fawn.

CCC: September Edition

The next meeting of Paper Anthology’s Christmas Card Club will take place this Friday, September 10th, from 5-9pm, see details below. We will be stenciling and ink blending to make this bold and beautiful card in traditional red and green, with plenty of fresh, bright white. There will be kits available, if you’re unable to attend; email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your spot or purchase your kit!

As promised, the details:

We’ll each be making five cards of one design (pictured above) featuring this lovely ornament stamp from Hero Arts and dies from Sunny Studio. The cost is $25 and includes dinner.

This in-person event is limited to six fully vaccinated participants. To reserve your place, EMAIL elisabeth@paperanthology.com AND include a photo of your vaccination card. You’re welcome to wear a mask during class, but please be aware that your (fully vaccinated) fellow participants will not be. Please note that all Paper Anthology staff members are fully vaccinated, and are taking care to keep surfaces and hands extra clean.

Christmas in July

This edition of the Collins Show is absolutely loaded with beautiful holiday items, many of which will be making their way to Paper Anthology! Day Two finished off with classes from Avery Elle… who are rockin’ CAS Christmas in a big, big way; and Hero Arts whose holiday ornaments stamps, stencils and dies coordinate beautifully. PS: Really loving Hero’s Ornament Looking Glass die set, which lets you cut and layer three levels of windows to make the easiest diorama ever (pictured on the kraft card, below)!
