Happy (Crafty!) Holidays

Lots of seasonal inspiration from the second day of classes at the Collins Show. Spellbinders (above) has outdone themselves once more, with a collection of dies, embossing folders and sentiments that will be as beautiful and useful in years to come as they are right now. Hero Arts (below) has some utterly gorgeous layered stamping, diecuts and cool techniques! And of course Lawn Fawn’s “APPLE-SOLUTELY” adorable cadre of mice (bottom photo) are warming up to do some harvesting and baking this autumn, followed by “SNOW MUCH FUN” when winter rolls around. Items from the show will start arriving at the beginning of August, so stay tuned for updates!

Hero Arts Holiday ShopBox 2022

Christmas in July has never looked better, thanks to the brand new holiday Hero Arts ShopBox, which has just arrived at Paper Anthology! Please note that these products are only available for purchase IN STORE until July 15th, but you can email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your favorites! Just a reminder that the ShopBox program is something that Hero Arts does twice a year; releasing a collection of exclusive products that, for the first few weeks, is ONLY available at independent brick and mortar papercrafting stores like Paper Anthology. This helps us stay competitive with all the big online retailers out there, for which we thank them. June CCC

Join Elisabeth on Friday, June 3rd, from 5 to 9pm for the June edition of Paper Anthology’s Christmas Card Club! We’ll each make five cards of this beautiful snow-bedecked design; featuring a simple but striking emboss-resist technique using Indigo Blu’s luscious new Vivid Ink Sprays… which really live up to their name!

The cost is $25 and dinner is included. Email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your spot. Please note that while the meeting starts at 5pm, you do not have to arrive by 5 – you should be able to complete all five cards, even if you can’t arrive until later. Bring your basic kit and a little bit of holiday spirit!

Come and Get ‘Em!

Participants in the 2021 Paper Anthology Holiday Card Swap can pick up their swap cards today (Saturday 12.11) or Tuesday from 10-5; or Thursday or Friday evening from 5-9pm. While you’re here, this would be a great time to finish shopping for your crafty friends! In addition to always-popular Paper Anthology Gift Cards (available in any amount!) we have a limited quantity of lovely Paper Anthology Mugs for sale, as well as our eco-friendly Paper Anthology “Bag Lady” Bags; and of course an abundance of beautiful stamps, dies, patterned paper, embellishments, adhesives and inks to help you finish up those last minute holiday projects!

December Christmas Card Club

The last CCC of 2021 will meet on Friday, December 10th, from 5-9pm. We’ll be making this beautiful botanical card, with a heat-embossed woodgrain background, that’s painted with Indigo Blu’s Luscious Pigment Powder! Penny Black’s Bountiful Berries, Joy (technically it’s called “MIrthful”) and Pines Dies, a pretty border from Tim Holtz’s Ornate Trims Cling Stamp Set, and Glossy Accents on the berries add even more texture and interest. Each participant will make five cards of this design and dinner is included. Cost is $25. Please email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your place.

2021 Holiday Card Swap

Would you like to receive five beautiful, unique, handmade holiday cards, created by your fellow Paper Anthologists? Then join us for the 2021 Holiday Card Swap! Just email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to sign up, then make five holiday cards and drop them off at the store by Saturday, December 4th. They can be any size, shape, style, color, and theme; though it is requested that you avoid using products from a Certain Stamp Company whose initials are S.U. and whose name rhymes with “Glamping Pup“. If you’d like to make a sixth card, it will be displayed proudly inside Paper Anthology to inspire everyone who comes into the store! In Mid-December, you’ll get an email from Elisabeth that your swap cards are ready, and you’ll pick up five awesomely assorted cards. Sound like fun? Email elisabeth@paperanthology today!

Season’s Greetings with Stamplistic

It’s another Stamplistic Stunner, Christmas edition!  Join Elisabeth to create two cards and a beautiful ornament, featuring gorgeous three-dimensional images from Stamplistic, embellished with colorful, shimmery Swarowski crystals!

Dates available: Monday, November 22nd, 6pm – 9 pm or Thursday, December 16th, 6pm – 9pm. Cost is $26. There are just six places in each class, so email elisabeth@paperanthology.com ASAP to claim your spot! Students are requested to bring their basic class kit and don’t forget your favorite scissors for fussycutting!
