August CCC

Friday, August 5th is the next date for Paper Anthology’s Christmas Card Club. We’ll meet from 5-9pm* and dinner is included for the price of $25. We’ll each make five copies of this lovely card featuring Hero Arts’ Holiday Candle Arrangement and Champagne Stardust Butter from The Crafter’s Workshop. We’ll stamp, emboss, mask, splatter, watercolor and do a bit of ink blending; and at the end we’ll be five cards closer to finishing off that holiday card list! Please email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your spot and plan to bring your basic kit and a little bit of holiday spirit!

*Please note that while the meeting starts at 5pm, you do not have to arrive by 5 – you should be able to complete all 5 cards, even if you can’t arrive until later.

June CCC

Join Elisabeth on Friday, June 3rd, from 5 to 9pm for the June edition of Paper Anthology’s Christmas Card Club! We’ll each make five cards of this beautiful snow-bedecked design; featuring a simple but striking emboss-resist technique using Indigo Blu’s luscious new Vivid Ink Sprays… which really live up to their name!

Christmas Card Club Returns!

Yes, Christmas Card Club is back with a beautiful, softly-colored snowscape* that’s glimmering and shimmering with subtly sparkling glitter; not to mention a gorgeous Buffalo plaid background (with awesome embossed edge!) and the perfect seasonal sentiment. Join Elisabeth on Friday, April 15th from 5-9pm and make five cards of this lovely design. The cost is $25 and dinner is included. There are just six places available, so email elisabeth@paperanthology.com ASAP to reserve your spot!

This is a great way to get a jump on December’s biggest papercrafting chore, while hanging out with your fellow cardmakers. *For the record, the only place we want to see snow again this spring is ON CARDS! :)

December Christmas Card Club

The last CCC of 2021 will meet on Friday, December 10th, from 5-9pm. We’ll be making this beautiful botanical card, with a heat-embossed woodgrain background, that’s painted with Indigo Blu’s Luscious Pigment Powder! Penny Black’s Bountiful Berries, Joy (technically it’s called “MIrthful”) and Pines Dies, a pretty border from Tim Holtz’s Ornate Trims Cling Stamp Set, and Glossy Accents on the berries add even more texture and interest. Each participant will make five cards of this design and dinner is included. Cost is $25. Please email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your place.

October CCC

October’s Christmas Card Club will meet on Friday, October 22nd from 5-9pm. We’ll be making this charming gatefold card, which has a bellyband that closes on the front with a Velcro tab. Bells with Holly, from Impression Obsession’s Serendipity Stamps line, is the focal image, which we’ll color with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. Each participant will make five cards of this design and dinner is included. CCC: September Edition

The next meeting of Paper Anthology’s Christmas Card Club will take place this Friday, September 10th, from 5-9pm, see details below. We will be stenciling and ink blending to make this bold and beautiful card in traditional red and green, with plenty of fresh, bright white. There will be kits available, if you’re unable to attend; email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your spot or purchase your kit!

Who: The first six fully vaccinated Paper Anthologists who reserve their spots by EMAILING elisabeth@paperanthology.com AND including a photo of their vaccination card. (Please note that ONLY email requests will be taken; no phone calls, FB messages, etc. for this event.)

Why: Because making holiday cards in December, all by yourself, is so much less fun!

Please read all the details, below:

We’ll each be making five cards of one design (pictured above) featuring Hero Arts’ “Holly Berries” stamps and dies from the new ShopBox release; and Penny Black’s awesome “Stitches of Love” dies. The price will be $25 and includes dinner.

As mentioned above, we’ll be keeping the size small, with just six fully vaccinated participants. To reserve your place,  EMAIL elisabeth@paperanthology.com AND include a photo of your vaccination card. Please note that all Paper Anthology staff members are fully vaccinated and we’re taking care to keep surfaces and hands extra clean. If you’d like to wear a mask during class you’re very welcome, but be aware that your (fully vaccinated) fellow participants will not be.

The Return of Christmas Card Club?

Would you like to meet up at Paper Anthology for a brand new, IN PERSON edition of Christmas Card Club; the first in over a year? If so, please read this post CAREFULLY to the very end, there are some new and important CoVid-related details!!!

Some things are the same as they always were: We’ll each be making five cards from one design (pictured above) featuring LDRS’ “Snow Deer to Me” stamps and dies, Dare 2B Artzy’s “Snow Much Fun” collection and a cool new technique for making “snow transparency”. The price will be $25 and includes dinner. The date will be Friday, June 25th, 5pm-9pm.

Some things are NEWso this is the part to read carefully: We will be limiting this event to the first six fully vaccinated Paper Anthologists who reserve their spots by EMAILING elisabeth@paperanthology.com AND including a photo of their vaccination card. (To give everyone equal footing, ONLY email requests will be taken at this time; no phone calls, FaceBook messages, etc. for this particular event.)

BUT don’t worry: If you can’t make the date, or you’re not vaccinated yet, or you aren’t one of the first six to email Elisabeth, there will be some kits available at a later date, to purchase and make at home; stay tuned for details on those!

We are excited about easing back to in person events and classes, and our first priority is the safety and peace of mind of all concerned. We will NOT be wearing masks or requiring class members to do so, but please note that all Paper Anthology staff members (Elisabeth, Shari, Betty and Lauren) are fully vaccinated and we’re still taking care to keep surfaces and hands extra clean. If you’d like to wear a mask during class you’re very welcome, but be aware that your (fully vaccinated) fellow participants will not be.

Shaking Things Up

Here’s a brand new Christmas Card Club in a Kit: Shaker Ornaments contains everything you need to make four seasonal shaker cards– two of each design pictured. This kit features diecuts made with Hero Arts Cheer Ornament and Joy Ornament dies, cut from beautiful shimmery, metallic papers.  Everything has been pre-cut for you; the kit includes everything you need to put these cards together, as well as detailed instructions and full-color photos… just add adhesive!  (Scotch Foam Mounting Tape suggested to put shaker element together.)
