Take and Make Saturday!

Yes! You read that right! It’s Paper Anthology’s first Take and Make Saturday, this Saturday, October 3rd, 10-5. What’s a Take and Make? Well, it’s like a Make and Take, in that all of the parts and pieces are ready for you to assemble into an awesome card; but instead of doing that at the store, using shared supplies, you’ll take all the bits and pieces (plus complete instructions, of course) home and finish the card at your leisure. Thus: Take… and Make! This one features Blended Distress Inks in beautiful autumnal shades, over an amazingly textured background made with a terrific Spellbinders’ Cut and Emboss folder called “Delhi“. ps: Bag Ladies get double punches; all Sizzix dies are still 25% off and there is more new product in the store than we could list in one post, so c’mon In this Saturday!!!

Elizabeth Craft (CUTE!) Critters

I used the Fox and Raccoon Dies with the Forest Accessories Set… (other dies in this series include: Lion/Tiger, Giraffe, Monkey, Owl, Chick, Cat, Dog, Whale, Jungle Leaves, Tree, Dog House and more!) …on Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock – Velvety to the touch with just a tad of surface texture. It is sturdy and porous, a unique cardstock that absorbs color and holds its shape without tearing. Added color with various Distress Inks, applied with Picket Fence Studios Blender Brushes. The Sun is from Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Rainbow Die Set.  The MFT Clouds Stencil is currently on order, and will be back in stock soon!

Yeti or Not

Taylored Expressions’ Mythical Grumplings are not yet the official mascot of 2020, but maybe they should be? Somewhat improbable, distinctly irritable, and it’s hard not to be just a tiny bit worried about what they might be planning next. On the other hand LOOK. HOW. CUTE! This card by Lauren Bergold is stamped in Ranger Archival Ink, colored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens and shaded with Polychromos Pencils from Faber-Castell.
