Join Elisabeth for this fall festival of cards, chock full of the colors and sights of autumn! First, we’ll create beautiful vellum leaves with Hero Arts dies and an amazing stamped wood background. We’ll move on to a shaker card featuring a Memory Box die and a Hero Arts background stamp, and finally a gorgeous fall tree line, courtesy of Penny Black, a MISTI and a clever multiple-impression stamping technique you will love learning… and use ever after! Sentiments from Hero Arts, as well as embellishments from Buttons Galore and more will be used for the finishing touches.
Please bring your basic class kit with all the usual adhesives, as well as a watercolor brush. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot! Cost is $24 payable by cash or check only.
…from the Collins Virtual Show last week. These are some of the cards from the Sample Making Frenzy, featuring new items from Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn, Impression Obsession, LDRS Designs, Buttons Galore, Dare 2B Artzy and Avery Elle (above) and PinkFresh Studios (below); just some of the fun stuff that will start appearing at Paper Anthology this Spring!
Still 11 days left before this month’s Christmas Card Club and I already have the card designed! This month I channeled all my favorite things – wood, plaid, gingham and a rustic cabin feel. I used Stampers Anonymous “Festive Overlays” set (another favorite thing) for the main image and sentiment. (die cut with Taylored Expressions awesome stitched and scallop sets). The plaid is a Studio 490 background stamp and the woodgrain is a Sizzix 3D embossing folder. My all time favorite May Arts ribbon, some die cuts from Penny Blackj and Elizabeth Crafts, along with a sprinkling of star sequins from Buttons Galore finish it off (not to mention a bunch of distress ink)!
