Art Impressions Watercolor Wonders: New Class!

Join Elisabeth for this three-card class featuring the beautiful Watercolor series of stamps from Art Impressions.  A unique way of stamping that results in a gorgeous hand-drawn watercolor look, and fun scene building possibilities.  Tombow Dual Brush Pens provide the color, YOU provide the creativity!

Please bring your basic class kit with all the usual adhesives, as well as a watercolor brush. (Not the kind you fill with water, but a plain brush – #4 round is ideal!) 

Email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your spot! Cost is $24 payable by cash or check only. Dates Available: Saturday, December 2nd: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm; Thursday, December 7th: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm; Friday, December 15th: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

There are still spots available in all three sessions of Elisabeth’s beautiful Hero Holidays class, for which the dates include Friday, December 1st: 6pm – 9 pm; Saturday, December 9th: 12pm- 3 pm or Thursday, December 14th: 6pm – 9pm. We also have a limited number of Class in a Kits from Lauren’s three-card Paper Pieced Posies class, which you can purchase online or in-store for $24. All Class in a Kit selections come with everything you need to make the featured cards as well as complete step-by-step instructions and a nice big full-color photo for reference.

What’s New, Pussycat?

It’s that time of year, the dozens of orders for Spring and Summer merchandise placed at the Collins Show have started to find their way to Paper Anthology! Check out the slide show on the front page of the website for highlights of things that have already arrived, including: brand new, amazing gems from Buttons Galore; gorgeous spring paper from Echo Park; new Spellbinders dies, stamps and foils; as well as fab new items from Pinkfresh Studio and Art Impressions. Customer Spotlight: Michelle DeSaro

We absolutely *LOVE* seeing what our friends are making, and during the Paper Anthology 9th Anniversary Celebration we were treated to a huge helping of incredible eye candy! (Visit the PA FaceBook Page and scroll back a bit to see for yourself!) Michelle DeSaro made some especially inspiring cards; including this amazing cross-stitched Christmas! (Because YES, she really did stamp, diecut and hand stitch that entire jaw-dropping A2-sized Taylored Expressions Buffalo Plaid background!)

This stunning autumnal card has it all: beautiful coloring, just the right amount of inking, and fabulous composition. (Just look at those Sunny Studios Pretty Pumpkins perfectly placed in the “V” of the pennant!)

How lovely is the soft hand-drawn effect attained with Art Impressions’ Watercolor Clay Pot Set? And then the card is finished with elegant details like the punched and rounded corners.

You really need to look at this lovely Christmas card to see how many elements have been cleverly layered: a two-color wreath with sentiment stamped on top; layered onto a doily, with a velvet bow; all of which perfectly match the softly patterned paper and coordinating cardstock, with inked and faux stitched edges.

The mice from Lawn Fawn’s A Creature Was Stirring set are always adorable, but Michelle has made them even cuter by coloring them perfectly and then added plenty of diecut accessories to surround the window on this super-sweet shaker card.
