This weeks challenge at Shopping our stash, SOS381, is to create a card inspired by a food or beverage label. So I went in my pantry and this box jumped out at me:
Probably because I really wanted some biscuits, or more precisely, biscuits and gravy, but I digress..
The layout and the color scheme caught my eye and I was ready to roll! Here’s what I came up with:
The stamps are from a Honey Bee stamp set that I’ve been itching to get inky. The image is colored in with Polychromos pencils with just a touch of sponged squeezed lemonade distress ink to soften things up a bit.
Now I’m off to work on the Christmas Card swap!
thanks for stopping by!
