Hello, Hero!

Hero Arts Spring Catalog will be unveiled later this month, but meanwhile, a selection of pre-release items called “Shopbox 2021” arrived at Paper Anthology over the weekend, and here are some photos! (PS: The brand new Catherine Pooler “Date Night” inks are on their way and you are going to looooove them!)

These products will be available on the PA website next week, but in the meantime, you can call or email Elisabeth to reserve any “must have” items!

Happy New Year!

It’s a double celebration as we welcome 2021 as well as the brand new Hero Arts Shopbox! These beautiful new products are available FIRST from small retailers like Paper Anthology, and this video from Hero gives a great overview, as well as some beautiful samples to inspire you. NEW Stampers Anonymous (and more!)

Behold the Tim Holtz Christmas Door, featuring EIGHT new Stampers Anonymous holiday sets! New arrivals include Snarky Cat Christmas, Holiday Scenes, Vintage Holidays and lots more, plus we have some lovely new TH holiday stencils. To make it easier to find all of the above quickly, there’s now a New In Store category, right up top in the online shop, so you can find the “latest and greatest” with just one click. Meanwhile, the Tiles for Miles Class in a Kit has been restocked (in a limited quantity), as has the super-popular Taylored Expressions Tool Tray, just in case you missed either of those the first time. Thanksgiving is next week, so Paper Anthology’s Kenvil store will be closed on Thursday; but open Black Friday 5-9pm and 10-5 on Small Business Saturday. (PS: there might be one or two in-store specials on Friday and Saturday… just sayin’…)

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

…at Paper Anthology! There are two beautiful new Class in a Kit selections available in-store and online. Plus, the uber-popular Impression Obsession Slim Scenes stamp line, which had sold out entirely, is back in stock including that gorgeous Norway Spruce and the Winter Greetings; and there are several brand new coordinating stamps– Santa with Sleigh, Night Sky with Moon, Sketched Trees— as well.

The newest Class in a Kit from Paper Anthology is the unique and lovely Christmas Cheer Waterfall Minibook featuring papers and embellishments from Photoplay’s beautiful new Christmas Cheer collection (which is also available as single sheets) and their Folio 3 Blank Book. With waterfall pages on the left, flip out pages on the right, and lots of pockets, there’s tons of room for photos and journaling.  Makes a wonderful gift or a lovely keepsake for your own family! As always, the kit contains detailed instructions and photos, as well as all of the supplies you’ll need except adhesives and your basic tool kit.

On the holiday card front, Snowflake Symphony features Hero Arts’ beautiful two part die, Snowflake Medallion, which is included in the kit. As always, you’ll receive complete written instructions for all three cards and nice big photos of each. The kit contains all of the materials you’ll need: patterned papers are pre-cut, card bases are scored, all the stamping is done. You need only provide your basic tool kit and a few adhesives. Beautiful cards have never been easier!

There’s Not a Bad Penny in the Bunch!

Just arrived at Paper Anthology, an amazing selection of Penny Black products to inspire your winter and holiday creations! The “Obsession” Becomes Literal…

Impression Obsession has always been a well-loved brand at Paper Anthology, but this season they’ve really outdone themselves. Of course there are some terrific single stamps (like Mountain View, featured in the card above) and a line of autumn and winter Serendipity Stamps that will be lots of fun to color. But today’s post focuses on IO’s unique and innovative line of Slimline-sized stamps with nature-inspired designs that can be used on their own or combined to make beautiful scenes.

The series is called Slim Scenes, but of course these stamps could be used with amazing effect on ANY size of card! But they were designed especially for the very hot slimline card size, so they’re quite large (measuring 8.25″ in length) and you’ll find a full-sized stamp platform, like the Regular Hero MISTI, very helpful for making a good impression. Many designs feature several stamps, including Mountain Layers, Treeline Layers, Hillside Duo, Treeline Duo, Town Duo (see the sample, below) others, like Snowy Night, Cloudy Sky and Norway Spruce are singles. The Winter Greetings Sentiment Set coordinates with all of them; and dies like Pinkfresh Studios Slim Edgers and Slim Stitched Rectangles are also very complementary.

Paper Anthology’s newest Class in a Kit is called Tiles for Miles and includes Spellbinders’ Kaleidoscope Tiles Die Set, plus all of the paper and embellishments to make a trio of easy but sophisticated cards. Featuring rich metallic cardstock in silver, copper and gold, combined with Bo Bunny’s Double Dot patterned papers; plus diecut sentiments, 49 Market Pixie Petals, and more.
