Paper Anthology will be closed on Good Friday (March 29th) and on Saturday (March 30th) for the holiday, but regular hours will take place the rest of the week! Wishing everyone who is celebrating a very happy Easter!
Paper Anthology will be closed for Easter on Friday evening, April 7th and Saturday, April 8th. Since we’re usually closed on Sundays, we probably don’t need to mention it, but just in case you were wondering, yeah, we’ll be closed on Sunday, April 9th! Normal hours will prevail before and after the holiday, on Thursday, April 6th (5-9pm) and on Dyngus Day* Monday, April 10th (10am-2pm) for all your papercrafting needs.
Whether you’ll be celebrating Easter, Passover or just the arrival of Spring, we hope you’ll get to spend some quality time hangin’ with YOUR peeps this weekend!
*For those who are not of Polish descent, Dyngus Dayis the Monday after Easter, on which we celebrate spring, show Polish pride, flirt with pussy willows (kind of a long story!) and eat Polish food. It’s VERY popular in Buffalo. If you’d like to read more about it, click any of the italicized parts of this paragraph.
The new Lawn Fawn Spring Release is HERE, with dozens of fabulous new items that you are sure to love! These are already so popular that unfortunately, for this event only, we cannot “hold” any items for you, BUT… local customers, remember you can purchase items online and choose “Pick Up in Store” where they will safely await your arrival. And don’t worry, we’ll be re-stocking the most popular items almost immediately, so if you miss out right now, don’t despair! There’s lots of Easter and Spring themed items, plus TWO gorgeous new paper lines: Stripes and Sprinkles (pictured behind the card samples above)and What’s Sewing On with pretty florals on one side and adorable sewing motifs on the other (pictured at the very bottom of this post). We’re open tonight and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday 3/23 & 3/24) from 5 to 9pm and Saturday (3/25) from 10am to 5pm.
…it might be hard to believe, but Spring really*IS* right around the corner! In the meantime, some-BUNNY* is crafting today, so it looks like there’s going to be an Easter class hopping our way soon! (Stay tuned for details!!!)
This beautiful card features an image, sentiment and die from Taylored Expressions Cottontail Wishes Stamp and Die Combo, which cleverly includes five other, non-seasonal greetings (Miss You, Happy Everything, Hello There, Celebrating You and Welcome Little One) so that you can use it all through the year, for everything from birthdays to babies to “just because” cards! The sweet bunny was stamped on Northwoods Watercolor Paper (not available online, but there’s plenty in stock!) and watercolored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens (we’ve got 101 colors!). The sentiment was stamped separately and diecut with Penny Black Ribbon Stackers.
