Holiday Jumpstart (with Dies!): Peaceful Dove

It’s time for the May Edition of Paper Anthology’s Holiday Jumpstart Card Kit, Peaceful Dove. This kit includes Memory Box’s beautiful Serene Bird and Branch Die Set, which we think you’ll get a lot of use from, both for holiday cards AND the rest of the year! With a color palette of soft blues, greens and teals (with a pop of red!) a little botanical goodness, some weathered woodgrain, and a neutral sentiment, this design will work perfectly for ANY winter holiday you celebrate.

Don’t we ALL love the idea of making our holiday cards during the year? But honestly, it can be difficult to be inspired during the “off-season”. Paper Anthology’s Christmas Card Club is a wonderful solution, but it fills up quickly, and what if you can’t make it to the store one Friday night per month? Here’s an additional option that works entirely on your schedule.

Our pre-packaged Holiday Jumpstart kits (cute name, right?) include everything you need (except a diecutting machine and adhesives) to complete FIVE copies of a brand new original holiday card design. This month’s edition is called “Peaceful Dove” since it features Memory Box’s Serene Bird and Branch die set.

This kit contains: 

  • Memory Box’s Serene Bird and Branch die set;
  • Enough teal, dark teal, pine green and yellow ochre cardstock to make five bird, wing, beak and branch diecuts;
  • Five A2 kraft card bases; 
  • Five 5.25 x 4″ weathered woodgrain patterned paper panels with decorative corners; 
  • Five pre-cut botanical patterned paper panels with decorative top corners;
  • Five pre-cut “PEACE” sentiments; 
  • Five glittery diecut tufty branches;  
  • Five tiny black Spellbinders gems for eyes;
  • Enough vibrant red seambinding to wrap around five card panels

“Are We There Yet” Five Card Kit, Now Available

If you thought Lauren’s fun-fueled FIVE Car(d) and a Folder Class sounded great, but you’re too far (or too busy) to attend, we’ve got the perfect solution: Here it is, as a Paper Anthology Class in a Kit! The kit features the same fabulous ingredients you’d be using in class… just in a more portable format.

This kit contains:

  • Five stamped and diecut Classic Cars from Honey Bee’s “Car Show” stamp set (1967 Chevy Malibu, 1956 Bel Air, 1963 Corvette Sting Ray, 1932 Ford Model A and 1960 Chevy Nova)
  • Five 4 x 5.25″ patterned paper background panels
  • All of the pre-cut collage panels for each card, with washi tape applied
  • Five pre-stamped sentiments, from Honey Bee’s “You’re a Classic” set, ready to be trimmed into flags
  • Five white folded A2 cards
  • One pre-cut, scored and folded presentation folder (just add adhesive!)
  • Pre-stamped panel, mat, heart and seambinding for front of folder, ready to assemble
  • Full color photos
  • Complete step-by-step written instructions

You’ll color the cars using your favorite coloring tools, assemble the pre-cut pieces into simple collages with the photos to guide you, and add the sentiments to complete each card. You’ll use pre-stamped and diecut pieces to decorate the presentation folder. The only problem will be deciding whether to send the cards to five different friends… give them as a set to one special person, or… keep them for yourself!

Frost Flowers Card Kit (with Stamps!)

If you missed Lauren’s Frost Flowers Class, or if you live slightly further away from Paper Anthology, you might be interested in this brand new Frost Flowers Card Kit! It features the Altenew Paint-a-Flower: Sweet Pea Stamp Set used in the class, as well as complete step-by-step instructions for completing all three cards, and all of the diecut foliage and sentiments, pre-cut patterned paper and stenciled panels, ribbon and A-2 cardbases. All you need to complete the cards are inks, adhesives and coloring implements. Thank You Very Mush!

Winter Botanicals is the newest Paper Anthology Class in a Kit. This three-card class features soft colors, sweet doilies and plenty of woodgrain, with dies from Hero Arts, Spellbinders and Taylored Expressions plus sentiments from Wendy Vecchi’s “Merci and More” Stamp, Die and Stencil set. Don’t need that many Thank You cards? Swap the pre-stamped flags for your own sentiments and send these for practically ANY occasion. All stamping and diecutting has been done for you, just follow the written instructions and consult the full-color photos to easily assemble two A2’s and one A6 card.

Happy Valentine’s… Die?

Yes, you read that right! The newest Paper Anthology Class in a Kit really is called “Happy Valentine’s Die” because there’s no stamping, just beautiful layered die cuts for you to assemble! This is a quick and easy class kit to make three lovely Valentines you’ll enjoy sending!  These cards feature dies from Spellbinders, Lawn Fawn, Karen Burniston and Taylored Expressions. There’s even a fun shaker card in the mix! Fa-La-La-La Lawn Fawn!

Join Lauren for this adorable Holiday card class featuring oh so cute (and festive!) Lawn Fawn stamps and dies, including Joy to All, Car Critters and Window Scene; there’s even a shaker card in the mix! There’s a fair amount of fussy-cutting involved, so please bring your favorite scissors and up-close glasses, as well as your basic class kit and some holiday cheer!

Dates available: Saturday, November 20th, 12-3pm (please note the store will be closing at 4pm on this day!); Wednesday, December 1, 11am-2pm; and Monday, December 13th, 11am-2pm. The cost is $22.
