NEW Class: Backgrounds and Blooms

Join Lauren for a colorful three-card class featuring some of our favorite Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 stamp sets and background stamps. We’ll use a super-simple masking technique to create vibrant multi-patterned backgrounds, then add washi tape, typerwriter font sentiments and big, bold, beautiful blooms colored with their coordinating stencils and a gorgeous palette of Wendy’s Archival Inks from Ranger.

Cost is $24 payable by cash or check. Please email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your spot. Students are requested to bring their basic class kit and their favorite fussy-cutting scissors. Dates available: Friday, June 30th: 6pm – 9pm; Saturday, July 15th: 12pm – 3pm; or Monday, July 24th: 11am – 2pm.

Magnolia Memories (New Class!)

Join Elisabeth for a lovely new three-card class featuring Memory Box’s beautiful Magnolia release as well as a couple of Wendy Vecchi stamps. These  wonderfully crafted dies have intricate detail and are easy to work with. We’ll be playing with Distress Inks and learn how to make an easy inked background.

How Do You Doodle? (Hint: With Stamps!)

Everyone knows we are HUGE Wendy Vecchi fans here at Paper Anthology, so here’s a class that features three of Wendy’s newest MAKE ART Stamp Sets: Doodle Town, Doodle Celebration and Floral Doodles; as well as some older Studio 490 goodies like her Simply Stripes Background (double stamped to make our own custom plaid), Thank You Stamp, Die and Stencil Set, Rectangle Grate Stencil and Rectangular Stitching Template. We’ll “watercolor” with Archival Inks, paint and blend with Liquid Pearls, do a little hand-stitching (there’s an alternative for non-sewing types) and quite a bit of fussycutting. Join Lauren on Saturday, September 10th from 12-3pm; Monday, September 12th from 11am-2pm; or Monday October 3rd from 11am-2pm. Cost is $24. Please bring your basic kit and your favorite scissors!

Glimmer Glam: NEW In-Store Class

Join Elisabeth for this four card class featuring gorgeous images from Pinkfresh Studio with beautiful foiled backgrounds and sentiments.  We’ll learn how to use the Spellbinders “Glimmer Hot Foil System”  and the PinkFresh Solid hot foil plate (which is really a gamechanger!)  All coloring is done by ink blending with stencil sets.  You’re gonna love this class, full of techniques, tips and tricks – get your glimmer on!!!

Students are requested to bring their basic class kit (see the list of basic kit items on the Class Page) as well as a Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stay-tion if you have one. Cost is $26. Dates available: Thursday, April 7th: 6 pm – 9 pm; Saturday, April 23rd: 12 pm – 3 pm; Friday, April 29th: 6 pm – 9 pm. Each class is limited to six students. New Class: Autumn Sampler

Just in case your Monday needs a little more Mojo, check out the brand new class just added to the Paper Anthology calendar: Autumn Sampler! Join Elisabeth for this inspiring class featuring three styles of Fall cards: a classic, elegant card (with a really cool embossing technique); a rustic card featuring Wendy Vecchi Autumn Greetings stamps and a fabulous inky background technique; plus a fun, simple card featuring stamps from LDRS and paper from Doodlebug Designs’ Pumpkin Spice Collection.
