“Are We There Yet” Five Card Kit, Now Available

If you thought Lauren’s fun-fueled FIVE Car(d) and a Folder Class sounded great, but you’re too far (or too busy) to attend, we’ve got the perfect solution: Here it is, as a Paper Anthology Class in a Kit! The kit features the same fabulous ingredients you’d be using in class… just in a more portable format.

This kit contains:

  • Five stamped and diecut Classic Cars from Honey Bee’s “Car Show” stamp set (1967 Chevy Malibu, 1956 Bel Air, 1963 Corvette Sting Ray, 1932 Ford Model A and 1960 Chevy Nova)
  • Five 4 x 5.25″ patterned paper background panels
  • All of the pre-cut collage panels for each card, with washi tape applied
  • Five pre-stamped sentiments, from Honey Bee’s “You’re a Classic” set, ready to be trimmed into flags
  • Five white folded A2 cards
  • One pre-cut, scored and folded presentation folder (just add adhesive!)
  • Pre-stamped panel, mat, heart and seambinding for front of folder, ready to assemble
  • Full color photos
  • Complete step-by-step written instructions

You’ll color the cars using your favorite coloring tools, assemble the pre-cut pieces into simple collages with the photos to guide you, and add the sentiments to complete each card. You’ll use pre-stamped and diecut pieces to decorate the presentation folder. The only problem will be deciding whether to send the cards to five different friends… give them as a set to one special person, or… keep them for yourself!

“Are We There Yet?” kits are in-store and online now!

Meanwhile, if you DO live nearby, there are still a few spots in the March 6th, March 18th and March 24th classes, so email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve a spot!

Special class added to schedule!!!

Join Jen Starr to create this one of a kind family keepsake – an 8×8” canvas (in your choice of paint colors).  You will learn how to effectively achieve a photo transfer with that rich vintage tintype photo look. If you have had problems with photo transfers in the past, Jen will walk you through all of her best tips and tricks for getting a perfect transfer almost every time! In addition, you will learn some fun techniques using acrylic paints. metal and a variety of mediums.

Please bring to class… • Photo copies of photos with subjects that can be easily cut out. Copies should be on just cheap copy paper and MUST be from a toner based/laser copier (Inkjet copies or prints will NOT work correctly). I generally take my photos to places like Staples, UPS store, etc to get my copies done. You may want to have them increase the size of the copy so that the subject be larger to work on an 8×8” canvas. • If you would like to incorporate PHOTO COPIES (toner based/laser – NOT ink jet) of ephemera such as wedding invitations, baby announcements, a relatives handwriting, etc to personalize your art further (optional) • 1” Score tape or similar strong double sided tape to work with metal • Gel Medium (I recommend Ranger MultiMedium – Glossy works best, but matte will be ok as well) • Baby wipes and paper towels • 1” flat paint brush and container for painty water • Palette knife • Non-stick craft sheet • Heat gun if you have one • Optional – some of your favorite background stamps and stencils (I will have some to share also)

Please note, Score tape and multiMedium are available for purchase at Paper Anthology.
