New Class: Have a Sparkly Day

Join Elisabeth for this three-card class featuring the fantastic mini stamps from Stamplistic adorned with Swarovski crystals! Nothing sparkles on a card quite like these embellishments and a photo can never do these cards justice – you’ll just have to come in and see them for yourself!  A wonderful collection of patterned papers in springtime colors is the setting for these gorgeous stamped dimensional images, all tied together with glittery sentiments from Spellbinders.

Please bring you basic class kit and don’t forget your favorite fussy cutting scissors!

New Class: Who’s The BOSS?

Want to learn how to emboss like a boss? Join Elisabeth for this three card class featuring Altenew 3D Embossing Folders. We’ll learn some wonderful tips and tricks… and just for fun, we’ll throw in a bit of heat embossing as well!

New Class: Paper Pieced Posies

Join Lauren for a three-card class featuring bold blossoms from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Inspired by Carta Bella’s Farmhouse Summer collection, the color palette splits the difference between Summer and Autumn, and the Altenew Painted Encouragement Sentiments make these all-occasion cards super-sendable! We’ll stamp the blooms on patterned paper, add a little shading with Tombows, fussy-cut, add Penny Black foliage accents, et voila!

Please bring your basic kit with all the usual adhesives, your favorite fussy-cutting scissors, and… if you’re “of a certain age“… your best pair of readers! NEW Class: Backgrounds and Blooms

Join Lauren for a colorful three-card class featuring some of our favorite Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 stamp sets and background stamps. We’ll use a super-simple masking technique to create vibrant multi-patterned backgrounds, then add washi tape, typerwriter font sentiments and big, bold, beautiful blooms colored with their coordinating stencils and a gorgeous palette of Wendy’s Archival Inks from Ranger.

New Class: Vintage Hues

Join Elisabeth for this six (6!) card class featuring beautiful Vintage Hues Transparencies from Stamp-On-It.  Always a popular class, these transparencies, paired with glitter film, make for a stunning focal point to your cards!  (The picture never does these cards justice; stop in to see the class samples live – trust me, you’ll want to make your own set!)  Paired with beautiful patterned paper, with Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn sentiments, you’ll whip up this six card set in no time.

Students are requested to bring their basic kit – make sure you have scissors and liquid adhesive, like Nuvo or UltraBond.

NEW Class: Frost Flowers

It’ll be a few months before there are flowers in our gardens, so in the meantime, join Lauren for this “One Stamp Set, Three Ways” class. We’ll combine the beautiful blooms of Altenew’s Paint-a-Flower Sweet Pea stamp set with Spellbinders’ Simply Perfect Mix and Match Sentiments dies and assorted Penny Black foliage. We’ll do some traditional coloring, some selective coloring and a bit of paper-piecing; not to mention pressure embossing (with metallic rub-on accents), a smidge of stenciling and fair amount of (easy!) fussy-cutting. Please bring your basic kit with all the usual adhesives, and your favorite pair of scissors.

A Very Vecchi Christmas

Join Lauren for a bright and cheerful class that features nearly EVERY stamp in Wendy Vecchi’s Doodle Christmas and Doodle Holiday stamp sets! We’ll do a little coloring, a little fussy-cutting, a little embossing and yes, we’ll even get out the big box of washi tape! Please bring your basic kit, your favorite scissors and some holiday spirit! Dates available: Monday, November 28th, 11am-2pm; Sunday, December 4th, 11am-2pm; Thursday, December 8th, 6-9pm. (PS: These cards could easily be changed from full-on Christmas to un-specified Winter Holiday by swapping sentiments and choosing different tapes, which you are welcome to do!)

How Do You Doodle? (Hint: With Stamps!)

Everyone knows we are HUGE Wendy Vecchi fans here at Paper Anthology, so here’s a class that features three of Wendy’s newest MAKE ART Stamp Sets: Doodle Town, Doodle Celebration and Floral Doodles; as well as some older Studio 490 goodies like her Simply Stripes Background (double stamped to make our own custom plaid), Thank You Stamp, Die and Stencil Set, Rectangle Grate Stencil and Rectangular Stitching Template. We’ll “watercolor” with Archival Inks, paint and blend with Liquid Pearls, do a little hand-stitching (there’s an alternative for non-sewing types) and quite a bit of fussycutting. Join Lauren on Saturday, September 10th from 12-3pm; Monday, September 12th from 11am-2pm; or Monday October 3rd from 11am-2pm. Cost is $24. Please bring your basic kit and your favorite scissors!

In the Garden: New Class!

Join Shari for her brand new In the Garden, Card and Tote Set Class!  In this class you’ll use Taylored Expressions’ In the Garden Triple Slim Layering Stencil Set, plus coordinating stamps and dies, to make a tote and six cards, paired with the gorgeous Elegance Collection from Graphic 45. Dates available are Sunday, June 5th, from 11am to 2pm; or Saturday, June 25th, from 12 to 3pm. Cost is $32. Please email elisabeth@paperanthology.com to reserve your spot.

Students are requested to bring their basic class kit, as well as the Wendy Vecchi “StayTion” if they have one.   Make sure you have a strong double sided tape, like Scor Tape, scissors, adhesives (regular adhesive runner, liquid glue), foam tape and a bone folder.

Season’s Greetings with Stamplistic

It’s another Stamplistic Stunner, Christmas edition!  Join Elisabeth to create two cards and a beautiful ornament, featuring gorgeous three-dimensional images from Stamplistic, embellished with colorful, shimmery Swarowski crystals!

Dates available: Monday, November 22nd, 6pm – 9 pm or Thursday, December 16th, 6pm – 9pm. Cost is $26.
