New Class: Let’s Get Inky!

Come and get INKY with Lauren! In this technique-driven class we’ll blend Distress Oxide Inks on plain cardstock, through a stencil and atop white-embossing; then we’ll stamp, we’ll stencil, we’ll overstamp in Ranger Archivals, we’ll stencil a bit more, we’ll do a little bit of coloring (with Tombows), we’ll diecut and… well, we will generally celebrate all the stamping techniques that made us love this hobby, but we’ll revisit them in new ways for a fresh, eclectic look. This class features stamps, stencils, dies and gorgeous butterfly ephemera from Aall & Create as well as Ranger Inks.

Cost is $24 and payable by cash or check only. Dates available: Monday, April 8th: 11am-2pm; Saturday, April 13th: 12-3pm; Friday, May 3rd: 6-9pm. Email elisabeth@paperanthology to reserve your place. Students are requested to bring their basic class kit. We won’t be getting terribly messy, but you might not want to wear anything white or dry-clean only! ;)

This deep, rich brown will be perfect for… well, just about everything, really! Choose from Ink Pads, Re-inkers, Oxide® Pads, Oxide® Re-inkers, Embossing Glaze, Spray Stain, Oxide® Spray, Flip Top Paint; and an Enamel Collector Pin as well as a singly-packaged Watercolor Distress Pencil. New Distress Shade: Scorched Timber

Tim Holtz and Ranger are excited to announce the final new Distress color: Scorched Timber! This deep, rich shade of brown, is already on it’s way to Paper Anthology and we expect it to arrive on Tuesday (1/16/24). You can email elisabeth@paperanthology to reserve yours; this gorgeous new shade will be available in all eight of the Distress products we love: Ink Pads, Re-inkers, Oxide® Pads, Oxide® Re-inkers, Embossing Glaze, Spray Stain, Oxide® Spray, Flip Top Paint; and an Enamel Collector Pin. Of course we’ll announce the arrival as soon as it gets here, so stay tuned!

Ranger’s New Distress Color… What Will it Be?

Ranger’s first NEW Distress Color of 2024 will be announced next Saturday, January 13th, and Paper Anthology will be stocking ALL of the fabulous Distress products in this new shade:

AND… new this time, an individually packaged Distress Watercolor Pencil in the new shade.

Ranger is also releasing a brand new four pack of Mini Distress Inks, featuring the new shade packed in a set with the last three Distress Shades: Uncharted Mariner, Lumberjack Plaid and Lost Shadow.

The new items should be in-stock and available to purchase in-store or online sometime within a week or so of the announcement date. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when they arrive!

While we’re all waiting to see what the new shade will be, how about a little contest? (Because NO, even Ranger Retailers have NO idea until the official announcement is made!) We’re giving away one free Distress Oxide Ink Pad in the new shade, to the person who’s guess is closest to the shade in the comments section of this blog post BEFORE midnight on January 12, 2024. Lost Shadow: NEW Distress Color

Tim Holtz and Ranger are excited to announce another beautiful brand new Distress color: Lost Shadow, a soft, subtle and sophisticated shade of grey, is already on it’s way to Paper Anthology and we expect it to arrive on Monday or Tuesday. In the meantime, we’ve added it to our online inventory and you can purchase it; we will ship it out to you the minute it arrives.
